Meat stews

Ingredients / spices:
  • 500 grams of beef shank meat, cut widens
  • 8 red onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 whole clove
  • 2 cm cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1,500 ml of water
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons fried onions for topping
Ground spices:
  • 6 grains of hazelnut, toasted
  • 6 red onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
How to make a stew of meat:
  1. Heat the oil. Saute ground spices, onion, and bay leaves until fragrant.
  2. Insert meat. Stir until it changes color. Add nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, soy sauce, and salt. Stir until swathed in spices.
  3. Pour the water gradually. Cook until absorbed and a little soupy. 
  4. Serve sprinkled with fried onions after
